Victor Seehund Schegin
From letters to paint
Victor Seehund Schegin (b. 1996) is a Paris-based figurative painter whose work explores the interplay between realism and expressionism, seeking to capture the invisible currents of our inner self with a note of tragedy.
He first encountered painting through graffiti art at the age of 15, later transitioning to traditional mediums and figurative subjects. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, which provided valuable skills in photography and editing, Seehund dedicated himself fully to his painting career.
The artist’s path to painting was unconventional; while he participated in city-organized art workshops during his journalism studies, he is primarily self-taught.
His work has been featured in group exhibitions in Paris, Netherlands and Sweden, and his paintings can be found in private collections in Europe and the USA.
